Approximately, how long does it take for a house inspection to be completed? Thank you in advance.

Hi Umar! Great Question! The inspection it self takes a few hours and take about 3 to 4 days to complete.

Umar,

I called around to find an inspector. What I looked for were a couple of things. First, I wanted to find someone who I could work with on a consistent basis, someone experienced who I could build a connection/professional relationship with. So, for this, I searched for a one man shop. I stayed away from the larger home inspection companies who have many Inspectors on staff. I don't want a different Inspector showing up to my houses and the vast difference in experience that brings.

Second, I wanted someone with a good reputation. So I read all of their Google reviews. It took me about 1 hour to 2 to narrow down my search and I called a couple of companies.

Third, I wanted someone FAST and RESPONSIVE! So, I left messages and went with the one who was fastest and who knew his stuff the best.

I asked for investor rates and got them.

Once I call him to schedule, he moves other inspections around and does mine next day or the day after. He gets the report to me same day he does the inspection, usually that night.

Hope that helps,

JT Taylor
